Heidi Spencer, MHP Alumnae Honoree

Heidi Spencer attended the Margaret Hudson Program her junior year in high school. As an active member of the Owasso High School soccer team, she was a star athlete made All-Conference her sophomore year and made All-Conference and State Defensive Player of the Year her senior year. After graduating from high school in 2001, Heidi enrolled at Tulsa Community College. She graduated from the TCC Nursing Program in 2004 and secured her Registered Nursing license in 2005.

Heidi started working full time as an RN at St. John Medical Center in the neonatal intensive care unit, where she has continued to be employed for the past 12 years. She currently serves as relief charge nurse, preceptor and mentor in NICU. She is a member of the St. John neonatal transport team since 2008. She is also a certified breastfeeding educator.

Heidi and her husband have been happily married for 11 years. They have four children (Kadin, 16; Kooper, 10; Kyson, 9; and Karley, 5), with another due in August. A giving volunteer, Heidi has served as mentor at the Broken Arrow Margaret Hudson Program. She is an active member of Cedar Ridge Christian Church. Heidi has served on several mission trips and is currently pursuing full time international missions as a family.
